Two New Managers at Gates
Gates has strengthened its UK Sales team with the appointment of a new District Sales Manager. In addition to this, a new Technical Support Manager has been appointed as part of a Gates focus on training at repairer level.
Mark Schultz has joined as District Sales Manager, South. He will work with distributors to develop business across areas of stock profiles, development of new product ranges, promote technical training and to offer support at repairer level.
He is based in Kent and his sales area extends from London and the Home Counties, along the South Coast to the South West of England and Wales and north up to towards Bristol. With around 20 years of business development and key account management experience with major automotive brands, he already has close working relationships with many of the Gates distributors.
Jason Ford has joined Gates as Technical Support Manager for UK and the Nordics. He is a qualified vehicle technician, able to draw on technical knowledge and skills developed over 30 years with other leading aftermarket brands that – like Gates – have strong OE manufacturing pedigrees.
Jason will run Gates Technical Workshops and deliver training at all customer levels. He will provide the link between the commercial and technical teams.
