Comma releases new Performance Motor Oil grade for Ingenium diesel engines
- Enhanced Comma Eco-FE Plus 0W-30 suitable for JLR’s new Ingenium 2L diesel engines
- New PMO grade replaces Eco-FE 0W-30 with new formulation
- Upgrade suitable for over 40,000 passenger vehicles including JLR and Ford
Comma Oil has introduced the ECO-FE Plus 0W-30 as its latest fuel efficient Performance Motor Oil (PMO) grade to the market.
The grade has been designed to match the increasing demands of newer engines to offer improved fuel economy, whilst also proving compatible with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology in diesel engines. ECO-FE Plus 0W-30 is OEM approved for new Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Ingenium 2L diesel engines as well as Ford passenger vehicles.
The introduction of ECO-FE Plus replaces the previous ECO-FE 0W-30, with enhanced properties. Whilst the previous formulation was ACEA 2012 compliant, the newest is ACEA 2016 compliant meaning it offers improved cleanliness, new elastomer compatibility and improved biodiesel compatibility.
The new PMO grade is recommended for all applications requiring the JLR STJLR.03.5007 and Ford M2C950-A service fill oil specification.
The new range additions will be made available to workshops in retail pack sizes of 1L, 5L, 20L, 60L and 199L and come with Comma’s 100% guarantee of compatibility, performance and quality.
This latest low viscosity product predicates the ‘next generation’ of 0W-20, 5W-20 and 0W-30 oils that workshops can provide to drivers, as OEMs seek to meet increasing emissions standards set by the government.
Comma’s dedicated website pages and industry-leading online VRN application data have been fully updated to accommodate the introduction of Eco-FE Plus 0W-30. Visit the Comma Oil website for more information.
